aims and objectives

The Department for Education and Employment (DfEE) funded project 'Recording Achievement in Construction' (1998-2000) sought to develop a process to promote a culture to enable and support students and graduates, within the discipline of 'construction management', to monitor, build and reflect upon their own personal and professional development.

This was achieved by:

  • Producing a Progress File (in both paper and electronic formats) that enables students and graduates to record their achievements
  • Developing a process for integrating the Progress File within the professional development of students and graduates
