aims and objectives The Department for Education and Employment (DfEE) funded project 'Recording Achievement in Construction' (1998-2000) sought to develop a process to promote a culture to enable and support students and graduates, within the discipline of 'construction management', to monitor, build and reflect upon their own personal and professional development. This was achieved by: Producing a Progress File (in both paper and electronic formats) that enables students and graduates to record their achievements Developing a process for integrating the Progress File within the professional development of students and graduates Establishing this process amongst Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) accredited Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and employers For further details of this project contact the RAPID team
