EASIMAP

The RAPID Project Team is currently engaged in the EASIMAP Project, a project designed to develop a tool to map and record the attainment of programme/module learning outcomes on Engineering degree programmes.

For further information, please visit the project webpage.

RAPID (New versions online!)

Recent developments include three new core versions of RAPID:

'RAPID Engineering', a version of RAPID based on the Engineering Council UK's UK-SPEC is now (January 2008) used by students in the Engineering Faculty at Loughborough University to help support their personal development planning (PDP) activity.

'RAPID Express', a generic version of RAPID, is offered to all other academic departments across the University to help support PDP activity.

'RAPID PGR', a version of RAPID appropriate for Post-Graduate Research (PGR) students is offered to all PGR students at the University to help them to assess and develop their skills and attributes.

.....................................

An user-name and password are required to access these versions (and the 12 discipline specific versions). If you require an user-name and password to explore RAPID further, please contact the RAPID team.

RAPID (Licensing arrangements)

The RAPID Project Team now offer licensed institutions the option - for a small fee per registered student - of registering students directly on our Loughborough server.

Institutions interested in acquiring RAPID under licence can pilot RAPID with a small cohort of students in advance of taking out a Licence Agreement.

To discuss these options, please contact the RAPID team.

DART

The DART Project (2003 -2005) produced 25 student case studies (that can now be viewed on the DART project Website), and an auditing and diagnostic tool, designed to assist faculties, departments and individual tutors provide a more accessible curriculum.

The DART Tool can be accessed here.

For further, updated information on DART, please visit the project website
